Over the last few years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) with its ability to simulate human intelligence and execute complex tasks has emerged as one of the most advanced technologies playing a crucial role in enhancing decision-making, streamlining industrial processes, and improving efficiency. As a result, the importance of AI is extensively recognized as its usage increases in organizations across all types of industries throughout the world. Moreover, combining industrial engineering methods and AI has become a necessity to develop intelligent manufacturing and service systems. While the growing number of successful applications of AI in industrial engineering is certainly beneficial, there are also some challenges that need to be addressed. One of the main challenges is the need for industrial engineers to attain skills and knowledge that are essential to working with AI technologies. This conference will shed light on the role of industrial engineering in this endeavor.

The GJCIE 2024 is composed of three co-located conferences: the 9th Global Conference on Industrial Engineering (GCIE), the 10th Global Conference on Healthcare Systems Engineering and Management (GCHSEM), and the 11th Global Conference on Engineering and Technology Management (GCETM). The GJCIE 2024 will be an internationally renowned forum for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, experiences, and challenges in the field of industrial engineering. It will bring together experts from academia and industry to exchange the latest research results and trends and their practical applications in the areas of industrial engineering mentioned earlier. This will be accomplished through the following four modes of communication: keynote presentations, parallel sessions, student paper competitions, and poster sessions.

Antalya, also known as the Turkish Riviera, where the pine-clad Toros (Taurus) Mountains sweep down to the sparkling clear sea, is the tourism capital of Turkey. The region, bathed in sunshine for 300 days of the year, is a paradise for sunbathing, swimming and water sports, yachting, trekking, mountaineering, and golf. If you come to Antalya in March or April, you can even ski at Saklıkent in the mornings and swim in the warm waters of the Mediterranean in the afternoons. The over 600 km long coast features about 1,000 classified hotels with a capacity of 500,000 beds. The people are friendly, and the food is delicious. There are excellent shopping opportunities, a rich culture, and a fascinating history. All are waiting to be explored. Owing to these prominent features of the place, participants will enjoy their stay besides benefiting from the conference.

A truly global conference!
